Until a few years ago, this was home to the well known apartheid Judge – Judge Tienie Stein. This lovely house offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the charm and tranquility of a fine suburban guest house.

Our five rooms at The Farmhouse Northcliff have a bright and airy feel and are decorated with clean, soft lines and natural colours. All the rooms offer super comfortable king size beds and each one enjoys a beautifully appointed en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. For your comfort each room features:

Bedroom 1 :This luxury king room with an antique dresser and dressing table and headboard, some pieces dating circa 1600 has been decorated to exceptional standards and boasts a super spacious en-suite bathroom which opens out onto a mini deck where you can sit and enjoy the gardens below you.

Bedroom 2: A calming spacious king room with an en-suite bathroom, decorated to exceptional standards again with various pieces of French antiques with a vibrant Nastia Torkai limited edition picture adds a spark of joie de vivre to this beautiful room. 

Bedroom 3 :With a dusty pink colour theme this cosy king bedded room is very popular with our regular guests and overlooks a quaint courtyard abundant with birdlife. The bathroom offers both shower and bath with an old world charm.

Bedroom 4: A large stylish double room with king bed, accentuated by a magnificent hand carved headboard, creates the main feature of the room. The comfortable en-suite bathroom has a double shower.  The bedroom has a pleasing view of the courtyard.

Bedroom 5 :A beautiful north facing room with a king bed offers a view of the lovely courtyard from large and beautifully draped windows. The feature of the room is the antique armour dating back to the 1800s, a splendidly restored piece where you can hang your clothes. The en suite bathroom is spacious and has all modern features - beautifully complementing the old and new.

Upon arrival and after checking in, we will be pleased to serve you complimentary tea or coffee with home made biscuits in our elegantly furnished lounge which overlooks the swimming pool.

Breakfast is served from 07h00 in our bright and airy dining room overlooking the garden. In summer, breakfast can be enjoyed  on the terrace.  Whenever possible, we use fresh local produce to ensure the best possible culinary experience.
